The Speculative Turn

Graham, Levi and I are quite proud to have a final table of contents available for The Speculative Turn: Continental Materialism and Realism. With 25 essays and some absolutely fascinating articles from some of the biggest names in continental philosophy, we’re hopeful that it will be a big success. And to be quite honest, I’m still a bit overwhelmed to be a part of it. Much thanks to my co-bloggers Ben Woodard and Taylor Adkins, as well as Stephen Muecke. Taylor translated two of the included essays, and Ben has provided the Badiou interview posted earlier on this blog, as well as a rather mammoth, unpublished interview with Slavoj Zizek. Stephen translated the Latour essay, which will be a major prelude to his magnum opus.

  1. I would just like to mention that an article of Meillassoux along with an article by Žižek on the topic of Speculative Realism was published in the last issue of the Slovene journal Problemi (one of the editors of which is Slavoj himself).
