Object-Oriented Ontology Conference

Ian Bogost has now made all the talks from the recent OOO conference available. Nearly six hours of material is up online for listening. I haven’t had a chance yet to go through it all, but I have no doubt it will be uniformly excellent stuff. Definitely worth checking out.

In other speculative realism news, the Transcendental Realism workshop was held two days ago, headlined by Ray Brassier. It was a terrific event with a great diversity of papers. Thanks to Pete Wolfendale for hosting and organizing the event, as well as for giving one of the most dense and interesting papers I’ve heard in awhile! There’s work going on now to make all the papers available online, and that should appear soon…
